Dolphin Jumps onto Fishing Boat in New Zealand

A pod of dolphins off the coast of New Zealand has experienced an unusual situation during the time of the snapper: a dolphin weighing over 400 kilograms jumped onto their small boat. The boat's owner, Dean Harrison, reported that no one was seriously injured when a 3.4-meter bottlenose dolphin leaped onto the open vessel last Friday. Harrison and his friends were fishing in the Hole in the Rock area, a picturesque spot on the northern coast of New Zealand, when the dolphins put on a show in the water. Suddenly, they saw a shadow casting bright sunlight beams, and heard a thump before being hit by the dolphin. "This dolphin decided to greet us with a jump onto the boat to say hello. Everything was fine, but then, quite unexpectedly, a small one hit us; we found ourselves with a huge dolphin that literally flipped all inside the boat," Harrison recounted.
