Aisha Al-Mekhayri achieved success in completing the full-distance Ironman race, held in Taupo, New Zealand. More than 1400 athletes participated in the race, among which Aisha became the first woman from the UAE to achieve victory in such a significant international event. Al-Mekhayri, representing Ras Al-Khaimah in the UAE team, successfully completed the course with a total distance of 226.2 km, including 3.8 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling, and 42 km of running. After finishing, she noted: "I am proud to represent my country and my team in such an important competition. Thank you to everyone who helped me complete this race. It was an incredible experience and an important achievement for me personally." This success allows Aisha Al-Mekhayri to gain more experience for participating in future international competitions and inspires other women to engage in sports and achieve their set goals.
